The Toledo Collision Story
In the early 1980’s John Morava made the decision to leave the corporate world and go into business for himself. An opportunity arose when a company needed their whole fleet painted. At that time he then chose truck and trailer repair, refinishing and refurbishing. He decided to start business in Toledo, Ohio due to the area’s unique position, straddling the country’s longest expressways.
Focusing on customer service and detailed, high quality performance, Toledo Collision immediately began to gather momentum as a fleet and RV painting leader. In 1991, Toledo Collision moved to its current property and built its first large paint booth. By 1997, more expansion was needed – Toledo Collision added a state-of-the-art 60′ paint booth. Eight years later, the facilities were once again re-scaled to meet increasing demand and added the large equipment sandblasting booth. They have just recently added an additional 44′ paint booth to keep up the volume of paint work.
The company is not only trusted by its customers – companies like Con-Way, Ace Hardware, Reliable Carriers, and brands such as Budweiser, and Coca Cola – it’s an acknowledged leader in workplace and environmental safety. Toledo Collision has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, is certified by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and has received a 100% Safety Award from the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio every year since 2005.
